Description

A collection of junior high and high school certificates of recognition, progress reports, and student achievement awards made out to various members of the Davis family in Tallahassee, Florida, including Connie Beryl Davis, Rodney Davis, Danita Davis, and Kimberly Davis, who were all students at the time. The certificates and reports come from the Leon County schools Griffin Junior High, Florida A&M University High School, and Augusta Raa Junior High, historically black schools. The certificate from 1988 is made out to Anita M. Davis, most likely Anita McGhee Davis, daughter of Samantha and Ellis McGhee of Frenchtown in Tallahassee, and mother to Connie, Rodney, Danita, and Kimberly.
