A letter by Rev. Joshua Knowles from November, 1878 that he read at the semi-centennial of Tallahassee Methodism as a Station, giving a description of early Methodism in Tallahassee in the year 1836. That year, he was a pastor at Trinity United Methodist Church, and recalls the Methodist congregation at the time, as well as other aspects of religion in Tallahassee.
