Description

A variety of documents and articles collected by Thelma Thurston Gorham relating to African American representation and rights in media. This includes copies of flyers and articles on minorities in film, the failure of public programs to help lower-class youth find employment, Black-owned radio stations, and press directories. Moreover, there are also documents from Gorham's time teaching at Florida A&M University. Specifically, a report of the Visiting Scholars Committee and a list of delegates from different universities.
