Description
A collection of newspapers and magazines from Thelma Thurston Gorham's desk that relate to the African American press, broadcast media as well as film and photography. From these there is an article titled "Black filmmakers plan series", two Tuesday magazines from The Minneapolis Star from September 1969 and March 1972, a September 1982 issue from the National Black Monitor, a page from the February 1984 Minneapolis Spokesman, and other clippings. All of these highlight notable African American figures and contributors to journalism and media.
