Description
A collection of Thelma Thurston Gorham's copies of publications and other materials. It contains releases with Florida A&M University current events and journalism news. It also contains white house press releases, including President Jimmy Carter's speech at the 8th Annual Congressional Black Caucus Legislative dinner, and other releases covering government appointments of African Americans. Other documents include an invitation to the grand opening of the campaign headquarters of the Leon County Democratic Party, an image and biographical sketch of Howard Graves, "The Anatomy of Black Rhetoric" news feature by Ouida J. Singleton, a summary of proceedings of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom's Southern Regional Conference, and a transcript of a statewide TV-Radio to Floridians on race relations.
