Description

A collection of Thelma Thurston Gorham's notes, research and class materials. There are Anthropology class notes that cover race, the nativist movement, American history, culture and culture diffusion. It also contains research notes, particularly on paper exchange and public interest research groups. There are also other notes for stories, features, and writing, some particularly for a newspaper class. These include notes for discussions, lectures, advice on yearbook and newspaper publication, journalism ethics, advertising, vocational counseling materials and others. At the end there are also surveys and other research materials on African American newspapers for a study on racial self-hatred.
