Description
A letter from Janyce Maycock to Thelma T. Gorham, in which Maycock thanks Gorham for her gift of 'The Open Door' after the passing of Maycock's father. Maycock goes on to inform Gorham that she is still trying to find a new job, as she finds teaching "inartistic," despite passing the NTE and rating highly in her first year of teaching. Maycock closes with a quotation that she says reminds her of Gorham.
