A photograph of the second structure of the Griffin Colored Normal Institute, founded in 1905 by the Florida Black Primitive Baptist Association. Located at the intersection of Woodward Avenue and Alabama Street, the school was funded primarily by the community through fundraisers and served primary through 12th grade.
