Part 1 of the 9th grade Program Development documents from the Aquilina C. Howell Collection. This part includes the workshop rationale, shifting the school structure from the traditional 6-3-3 plan to the K-5 for elementary school, 6-8 for middle, and 9-12 for high school. It also contains many related documents, including worksheets, meeting notes and follow-throughs, memoranda, handwritten notes by Howell, article clippings, bibliography, and notes on the curriculum.

Part 3 of a collection of documents and related files to the NAACP Task Force on Educational Success for Minority Students, in which Aquilina C. Howell was involved while she was Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. It includes related correspondence, memoranda, a list of ways to increase home-school cooperation with notes, a newsletter from the Florida Education Council (Winter 1982-1983), a copy of an annotated bibliography edited by Anne Henderson on parent participation in student success, and other resources for the task force.

Part 2 of a collection of documents and related files to the NAACP Task Force on Educational Success for Minority Students, in which Aquilina C. Howell was involved while she was Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. It includes a list of recommendations for the program, meeting notes, memoranda, flyers, as well as other related correspondence. Moreover, there is a statement of issues, proposals, and concerns by the NAACP Tallahassee Branch commending Charles Couch and Howell for convening the task force. At the end, there is a collection of publications by the Task Force on Educational Success for Minority Students titled "Minority Mentor" that includes recognitions, newspaper clippings highlighting the efforts, and other details and updates of the twelve point action plan.

Part 1 of a collection of documents and related files to the NAACP Task Force on Educational Success for Minority Students, in which Aquilina C. Howell was involved while she was Assistant Superintendent for Instruction. These include correspondence relating to the 12 Point Action Plan created by Howell for Leon County Schools, as well as project proposal documents outlining the plan. Moreover, there are also newspaper clippings publishing the plan and highlighting the effort. There are also documents from the COEB (Council on the Education of Blacks) from Tampa (Fla.), Leon District schools contact lists, meeting notes, and memoranda with issues/concerns and identified areas of need.

A collection of Aquilina C. Howell's professional documents and notes. The majority relates to the SACS Visiting Committee for Maclay School on March 15-18, 1987, in which Howell was the member assigned with reporting on School and Community. It includes a letter from Mabel Jean Morrison thanking her for the contribution to the school improvement program, a schedule of activities for the committee, notes from the visit, and other documents related. There are other documents and notes relating to teaching or personal notes, such as a biographical sketch on Carl Rogers, worksheets, notes on "Romanticism on Puritan Soil," a page from "The Flowering of New England," and a recipe for a cheese-egg-sausage timbale.
