There is also correspondence relating to Gorham's writing projects, manuscript information sheets, and editorial materials for Marion L. Williams, including a biography of her by Patricia J. Goodchild. Moreover, there are transcripts of different testimonies before the Senate Subcommittee on Employment, Manpower, and Poverty, news releases on Garth C. Reeves Jr., and other documents and notes related to journalism.

Research materials and other notes on T. Thomas Fortune kept by Thelma Thurston Gorham for a research project with student at the time, Clinton L. Black. Some of these materials include a few chapters from his biography by Emma Lou Thornbrough, as well as news articles and correspondence related to this research. There are also photocopies of some chapters from Martin Dann's book "The Black Press," some of Fortune's miscellaneous poetry, and a highlighted clipping from the Washington Bee August, 24, 1880 issue that covers him and the colored national convention.

Research materials on Timothy Thomas Fortune from the Thelma Thurston Gorham collection. This includes an article on him by Emma Lou Thornbrough, a few chapters from "The Black Press" by Martin Dann, and an African reading list from the National Association of Black Journalists. In addition, there is correspondence with inquiries on Fortune, different articles on him by various authors, pieces written by Fortune himself, and a review of scholarship from Afro-Americans in New York Life and History. There is also recognition forms for Fortune from the FL House of Representatives and a quote for a bronze statue to be erected of him.

There is also university material, including a research proposal from Florida A&M University, a travel budget, and research for a collection of biographical sketches entitled "Black Women Journalists". In addition, there is a newspaper clipping of "Black Pioneers in Business" by Clarence L. Holte, bibliography annotations for books on Black Women, other correspondence with notes, an American Journalism Historians Association newsletter, and other miscellaneous documents.

Miss Collegiate Black American materials including summaries, lists of participating colleges, press release drafts, and other documents. There are also writing materials, including editorial rewrites, a copy of a language usage test, biological sketches, an award and news release to Janita Ford Hollis, book reviews of Bill Fore's "Television and Religion", as well as other newspaper clippings and copies. There are also publishing company notes and directories, as well as features and drafts of Florida A&M University journalism news, article edits, a references list, and correspondence on college textbooks and materials.

A collection of Thelma Thurston Gorham's copies of publications and other materials. It contains releases with Florida A&M University current events and journalism news. It also contains white house press releases, including President Jimmy Carter's speech at the 8th Annual Congressional Black Caucus Legislative dinner, and other releases covering government appointments of African Americans. Other documents include an invitation to the grand opening of the campaign headquarters of the Leon County Democratic Party, an image and biographical sketch of Howard Graves, "The Anatomy of Black Rhetoric" news feature by Ouida J. Singleton, a summary of proceedings of the Women's International League for Peace and Freedom's Southern Regional Conference, and a transcript of a statewide TV-Radio to Floridians on race relations.
