Description

Photograph of a large group of mostly African American men posing at a building entrance. Some are in boy scout uniform. Handwritten notes on the back identify the subjects of the photo as "boy scouts" of the 1947 Atlanta School at Morris Brown College. One individual is singled out by name as John J. Swilley, Jr. The photograph was taken between August 11th and 15th of 1947.
