Description

A novel created by the Lincoln High School and Elementary Faculty and also with the Secondary School Study of the Association of Colleges and Secondary Schools for Negroes. The novel follows "Susan Primm," a rather jaded teacher who becomes more motivated to teach as she can actively improve the school's curriculum. The novel allegorizes a great deal of contemporary ideas and initiatives about school improvement. The novel contains pictures of students at Lincoln High School. It contains a topical index and an introduction. 1944
